4/25 - 5/3/08: Costa Rica, Part 8: Playa Arco / La Cusinga / Domincal / The End

On our last full day, we visited La Cusinga Eco Lodge where we ate and used their private beach (Playa Arco)...

We sat here for breakfast...

Howler monkeys in the trees...



Playa Arco. (That's Isla Bellana in the distance - one of the places we snorkeled the day before.) We had the place to ourselves...



these green iguanas run along the water and dive into the surf...





there were TONS of these red crabs running sideways on the beach...

Lunch at La Cusinga...


After lunch we went to Dominical- a surf town, where we almost ran over this guy...

Back to Alejuela to catch our flight the next morning. This is our last supper...
